When we opened our third site, the Virgins & Castle in Kenilworth, Ryan Sedgewick stepped up from Assistant to General Manager. He has done a really good job of opening the site and getting it set up. Ryan overcomes anything that comes at him — he’s very good at strategic thinking. He is really process-minded and has put a lot of systems in place that support the entire business. I call him a ‘pressure point manager’ because whether it’s the bar, the floor or the kitchen, he is always situated at the point of pressure and is in control — and that’s a really good skill.
